Ytech to bring 70-story solar-powered condominium to Brickell.
Site work has begun for The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 70-story luxury condominium on Brickell Avenue where the official groundbreaking is expected in the first quarter of 2024. The 189-unit building will be the world’s first high-rise residential tower to be partially powered by solar energy, according to Miami-based Ytech, the developer.
Designed by Milan, Italy-based architecture and interior design firm ACPV Architects, led by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, and Arquitectonica, The Residences at 1428 Brickell will feature two- to four-bedroom plus den furnished units sized from 1,800 to 4,000 square feet and priced from $2 million to $7 million. There will also be 4,000- to 10,000-square-foot penthouses from $8 million to over $40 million. Residences will have water views and flow-through floor plans, and many will comprise two stories.
The project will include over 80,000 square feet of amenity space, including a 10,000-square-foot gym, a rooftop pool and atrium, a two-story wine and fine-art lounge, office suites, a private dining room, a spa, a children’s recreation and learning center, furnished guest suites, a valet, a pet facility with a grooming area and in-unit package delivery.
