Interior Design – Historic Restoration
Miami-based firm Ytech, led by CEO Yamal Yidios, took on the task of revitalizing the historic Nolan House mansion to honor its impact on its surrounding cityscape and showcase the firm’s dedication to providing exceptional living experiences. Nolan House, built in 1926 by banker George E. Nolan, is one of the few remnants from Miami’s iconic and storied “Millionaire’s Row.” To transform this noteworthy local treasure into a lasting landmark, Ytech invested $20 million to both restore the exterior facade and renovate its interior. Nolan House is now home to The Residences at 1428 Brickell’s Sales Gallery, an innovative space that seamlessly blends Miami’s history with its future, with interiors by world-renowned firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
Guests are first welcomed to the luxurious private estate with a museum-like experience on the ground level. Here, they can explore an innovative suspended model of the city of Miami, an ultra-high definition 180-degree cinema room, a series of interactive displays on the visionaries, philosophies, artists, and craftsmen behind the project, and a scale model of the building where they can visualize the architecture and amenities.
Ytech repurposed the second level of the building into the “Home,” a stunning and realistic representation of their future residence where buyers can understand the fit, finish, and lifestyle possible at the property. The “Home” features a 150 linear foot LED screen displaying views at various levels from sunrise to sunset, an expansive great room, a solid oak closet, and a primary bathroom featuring dual vanities and a spa-like wet area. It also includes furniture pieces carefully selected from an array of globally acclaimed Italian and international designers and featured in the common areas of The Residences of 1428 Brickell, as well as a Rimadesio glass-enclosed model of an Arclinea kitchen crafted in Italy. Ytech flew out premier artisans from Italy and Spain to install this kitchen and other gallery pieces throughout the “Home” to deliver a realistic vision of the property. Materials include glass and flooring from Spain, limestone, marble, and travertine.
